Johnny Cage is a former MMA Champion turned action movie star, facing depression, PTSD and substance abuse problems. In the movie, we find him in China competing in a local Martial Arts Tournament (since he has been banned from UFC, a few years ago). We will follow his journey from this fight, to prision and then into the Shaolin Temple alongside Liu Kang.
