For Mechagodzilla just like his Heisei, Millennium, Anime, and possibly MonsterVerse counterparts he was made by the military in order to fight the kaiju. The way he is piloted is similar to how the Jaegers are piloted in the Pacific Rim films. His design will be based on Kiryu from the Millennium movies but would also take influence from the unused Ohrai Noriyoshi design for the advance poster artwork for Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II.
