Abbey is one of the toughest characters on Monster High, but she's also a victim of a cultural clash between her Scareamerican background and her Himalayan background. Even though she works hard to move on from it, she still thinks her old ways are the right ones. She was raised with a lot of short, strong words, and she's tough, confident, scary, and often stubborn. She's not afraid to break the rules, but only if it's for the best. Her biggest problem is that she doesn't always tell the truth, and she can't change her words to suit the situation. She also doesn't understand the normal teenage stuff, like being anxious about having a crush or flirting, and that's a big problem for her.
