The story is set in a futuristic world where humanity relies heavily on advanced robotics. Dr. Light, a brilliant scientist, creates Mega Man, a humanoid robot designed to be a bridge between humans and robots. However, when Dr. Wily, Dr. Light's former colleague, turns rogue and reprograms robots to take over the world, Mega Man must rise to the challenge. Armed with the ability to absorb the powers of defeated robot masters, Mega Man embarks on a perilous journey to stop Dr. Wily’s sinister plan, protect humanity, and discover his own identity beyond his programming.
