A group of cops in the 1970s are tracking a Christian themed serial killer who calls himself, Mr. Nightmare. What is at first a simple case turns into surreal torment for not only the victims of Mr. Nightmare, but the cops tracking him, and a strange manipulation over the metropolis that the story is set in.
