Thirty-five years have passed since Ronald McDonald and Crew were rescued by Birdie from the Treasure Island storybook. Salty Jack and the Captain tell Ronald about a malady plaguing their copy of the book. Ronald and the McDonaldland Pals must return to help the characters of Treasure Island overcome a suite of modern problems, such as Jim Hawkins' heroine addiction and Long John Silver's pirate bot-driven disinformation network.
