Is a story about a brilliant young girl named Matilda Wormwood, who is mistreated by her neglectful and ignorant parents. Despite her difficult home life, Matilda finds solace in books and develops extraordinary intellectual abilities. She is also bullied by her school’s tyrannical headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, who terrorizes students and teachers alike. However, Matilda forms a bond with her kind and supportive teacher, Miss Honey, and discovers she has telekinetic powers.
