castingsinmyblood This film would essentially be both a modern take on Matango and a sequel to the events of Honda's film. Akira Kubo would appear within the framing story as a Kenji Murai to establish a connection between the events and the film would retain the political satirizing edge of it's Japanese counterpart, touching on current zeitgeists such as climate change, race, and classism.
