A Remake of the Forgotten 1985 Film
I recently watched this movie for the first time, and it was really touching and at moments hard to watch. For those who don't know, it's based on the true story of Rocky Dennis, a teenager with craniodiaphyseal dysplasia, a rare bone disorder that only one in every 22 million babies have. He was expected to pass at four years old, not be able to go to a regular school, or do other things average kids could do. But with the help of his supportive but troubled mother and her boyfriend, he overcomes bullying and loneliness to inspire and bring joy to everyone he meets.
