Synopsis

During the First Jewish-Roman War, Jewish Sicarii Rebels holed up in the Fortress of Masada just under a thousand strong. The Romans, with most of the 10th Fretensis Legion, and some five thousand Auxiliaries, are coming to root them out and capture the fortress.

Description of Centurion Marcellus (Auxiliary Commander):

Though he is in Roman Auxiliary Service as an Officer, Marcellus was born and raised in Jerusalem, he is a Jew, he did not expect to see his friends and family rebel against the Romans. He did not expect to have to kill his brother in combat a year ago. Most of all, he did not expect to have to question his loyalty to Rome. Rome has given him a life, but they’re taking everything in his life with meaning.
