When his wife and child were killed by the mad titan Thanos, Rathur Do-Gras vowed revenge. With the help of the alien A’Lars, Rathur trained his mind and body to become the ultimate weapon of vengeance. He would eventually join the Guardians of the Galaxy, earning the title Drax the Destroyer.
