Paul Cartier and his two friends Georges Baptiste and Henri Clouzot went on a hunting trip one fateful day in November and became horribly lost. When Henri died of hypothermia after a week, Paul decided to eat his friend’s flesh to stave off his own hunger. Thus, he was cursed to become the Wendigo.
