Loki is getting tired of his brother Thor, now he plans to take over the world.
9 years ago, there was a civil war, it caused the big three to disband (The Avengers, X-Men, and the Fantastic Four), Loki would of course take advantage of these teams being disbanded after he was released from The Raft by a security guard being mind-controlled by Scarlet Witch, who was manipulated into breaking out Loki.
