Synopsis

In a similar vein to what I did with Return to the DC Universe, this is taking a different spin on Earth-616, the prime universe of the Marvel multiverse, retconning some events, changing some things around from a specific point up until where we are now, and how that will be a callback to the past.

Description of Winter Soldier (James Buchanan Barnes, Bucky):

As a teenager, Bucky Barnes became a ward of the state when his father died while in basic training at Camp Lehigh. Eventually, he would become enlisted, then learned Steve Rogers was Captain America, becoming his partner. In a mission against Baron Heinrich Zemo, Bucky was believed KIA, only to be discovered by the USSR, having lost his arm and being brainwashed into the Winter Soldier. Now free, Bucky lives to make up for the sins of his past, even having for a time served as Captain America when Steve was dead.
