The symbiote that would be later known as the Venom Symbiote was spawned at some point during the reign of the dark elder god Knull and according to the Symbiote itself, it was the 998th of its lineage. Though much of the symbiote's history prior to its arrival on Battleworld is unclear, in part due to its memories having been erased, modified, or otherwise altered numerous times. Like it recalled hatching from clutch of eggs in a cavern on Klyntar; though it also possessed memories of having been present on Gorr's Homeworld - a planet conquered by Knull early into his war on the Light and which served as the birthplace of the first symbiote.
