Mark Alan Ruffalo is an American actor, producer, director, and screenwriter. He's known for his role as Bruce Banner/Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starting with The Avengers in 2012. He's also starred in Foxcatcher (2014), Spotlight (2015), and the Now You See Me series. Ruffalo has been nominated for three Academy Awards, a BAFTA Award, and a Golden Globe. He's also a dedicated activist for social, environmental, and political causes
