Description of Jake McRoyan:
Jake McRoyan is your requisite simple, good-hearted football jock guy. He's been dating Zoey for two years but does have a little secret lust for Claire. Jake idolized his older brother Wade, who died in a drunken car wreck when Wade, Claire, and Lucas went drinking in the woods one night. Jake blames Lucas for it and is very vengeful in a passive-aggressive sort of way. Wade was a jerk, but Jake is in denial about this. His dad runs the marina.
