The Magic Tree House is an upcoming American television series loosely based on an American series of children's books of the same name written by American author Mary Pope Osborne, but only focusing on fairytales by the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen, Charles Perrault, and other notable authors. In each episode of this series, one of the famous classical fairy tales is retold in an educational way. The Smith siblings, Jack and Annie, are sent on a mission by Merlin to help characters or at least inspire them.
