My idea for the synopsis: It takes place 20 years after the first film. Cady is now in her late 30s, is married, and has a daughter. She now works for the same toy company with her Aunt Gemma. But M3gan is recreated by David's daughter into something better and more sinister. This recreation gives Cady PTSD from her childhood. When her daughter and a lot of kids buy the M3gan toy, Cady must do everything she can to expose her true nature so that M3gan can loose sales.
