After Buzz Lightyear revives the Space Ranger Corps with his new trainees, Buzz and his team go on new adventures but Zurg/Old Buzz is still alive but above him came Zurg's ship but someone else is controlling it and he is here to take his mech suit back and that someone is none other than... Larry Lightyear! Buzz's biological father. After Larry got his mech suit back he kills Old Buzz and goes to find his son.
