Max Caulfield managed to be admitted to the Blackwell Academy, a very prestigious photography school, where she completed the last year of high school and continued her studies. The school is located in Arcadia Bay, the coastal village where she grew up and left five years earlier. When classes begin, in the middle of autumn, Max has a terrible nightmare that announces that a tornado is about to destroy the city, plus he discovers that he can manipulate the weather. Thanks to his new power, Max saves his childhood friend Chloe from being killed by a boy who threatened her.
