A WWII Superhero Film
In 1942, The Red Skull kidnapped and imprisoned a team of superheroes that sought to end Nazism, called 'The Invaders'. The only member that evaded capture was Bucky Barnes, the sidekick to Captain America. In response to this event, Bucky decided that he would form a team of lesser known superheroes to free his friends from their imprisonment. This team would go on to be named 'The Liberty Legion'.
