When Tad discovers that Professor Quigley's new factory is under threat from the villainous Dr. Dick Brooksvel, he rallies his siblings Leap and Lily along with their parents and friends to take action. After witnessing strange occurrences during the grand opening of the factory—such as malfunctioning machines and toxic fumes—they suspect Brooksvel's ulterior motives are at play. As they navigate through obstacles—including clever traps set by Brooksvel—the gang learns about teamwork, resilience, and believing in themselves while uncovering secrets about Brooksvel's past that explain his greed for power. In a climactic showdown within the factory itself, Tad must summon all his courage to stop Brooksvel before he can unleash chaos on both Fairbrook City and Alphaville.
