In their youth, Aaron and his brother Jeff were very close and apparently used to tag walls with graffiti. When Jeff started on the path to becoming a law enforcer, he and Aaron drifted apart. Jeff went on to marry and have a child, Miles Morales, with whom Aaron developed a close bond with. Though estranged from Jeff, the boy visited him often and became like a second father figure to him. At one point, Aaron became the masked villain and mercenary known as the Prowler who started working as a prominent hit man and main enforcer for the Kingpin. As Prowler, Aaron Davis would became one of the many supervillains of New York
