In the year after his victory in the All-Valley karate tournament, Daniel LaRusso's life is going well; he's doing well in college, he has a good job working with Mr. Miyagi and his new wife Yukie, and his girlfriend Kumiko has recently moved into the area for dance school. But his good times are threatened by the return of John Kreese, who, under the guidance of his old army buddy Terry Silver, plans to make his life a living hell. Meanwhile, several former Cobra Kai students seek some kind of redemption.
