Marcel Déat(b.7 March 1894) is a French politician, and the leader of the Jacobin faction in the Commune of France. The end of the Weltkrieg and the flight of the French establishment in North Africa allowed the coming of the Commune of France. Over the years, Déat went up the party ladder and ended up becoming the national secretary. It also allowed him to shape his ideas by drawing inspiration from the Jacobin doctrine of Robespierre. In 1930 Deat published in his "Perspectives socialiste" his refound vision of socialism.
