The Suicide Squad failed; they couldn't destroy Starro, instead they released it. With part of the team dead, another part under the influence of the alien being like the entire island, the few survivors find themselves completely screwed. However, they realize there is still hope when the Justice League arrives on the scene. Initially, the heroes refuse to work with the Suicide Squad, not trusting them, after all, they put them behind bars for good reason, but when Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter are caught, the remaining heroes of the League see no choice but to join the remaining members of Task Force X, but with one rule: nobody dies. Former enemies, now working together, not only to survive, but for the survival of all humanity. The final film of this second phase of the DCEU. Bringing together the two major teams of the DCEU so far. Heroes and villains working together, with a single objective.
