After dinosaurs threaten life on the main land, John Hammond hires former Military Hero, Nick Harris, to retrieve the barbacol canisters left on Isla Nublar by Dennis Nedry. In the process he is captured by the new corporation controlling the island, the Grendel corporation, and begins working for them and learns they have genetically bred dinosaurs for police and military uses.
