This retelling of the classic rock opera sets the story in a nineteen-sixties inspired dystopia and portrays Jesus and his apostles as an activist group of singer-songwriters. Struggling member, Judas, makes the ultimate betrayal when he gets involved with an oligarchic group of men who aren't fond of Jesus's mission.
