The Attacks
It was the summer of 1916, the beach town concept was a fresh new thing. However, peril lurked in the ocean. During the summer numerous shark attacks plagued the beach town, leading to the death of 4 people and seriously wounding, one young boy. This was the incident that inspired the public's fear of Sharks. These attacks inspired Jaws, and made for television movies. But this would be a full length Hollywood movie.
