Jack and Jackie

A biopic about the lives and careers of John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy. The film begins as the couple gets married on September 12, 1953. It then follows Jack's battle with Addison's disease and near death experience. Jackie gave birth to her first child, Caroline, while her and Jack were campaigning for his re-election for Senator. Jack announces his candidacy for president in early 1960. After successful campaign, Jack is nominated by the democratic committee to serve as the democratic nominee. Jack choses Lyndon B. Johnson, from Texas, as his running-mate. Meanwhile Jackie is carrying her second child, John F. Kennedy Jr. Jack defeats Republican nominee, Richard Nixon, and is elected President of the United States. Jackie then gives birth to JFK Jr. The film ends as the Kennedy's enter the White House for the first time as the First Family.
