After returning home from the war, soldier Danny Miller heads straight to his old stomping grounds in Brooklyn, N.Y. He's determined to attain success as a singer -- and help his friends reach their own dreams along the way. Danny moves in with old chum Nick Lombardi and falls head-over-heels in love with schoolteacher Anne Fielding. But will an upper-crust acquaintance wreck his new romance?
