A missile shot through the air strikes the wing of a passenger plane carrying Tony Stark. Stark secretly dons the Iron Man armor he carries in his briefcase, flies out of the plane, and guides it to a safe landing in the ocean. Navy ships approach and soldiers help the passengers to safety, and bring Iron Man to an island base. They tell him the missile was fired from some soldiers on the island. Iron Man confronts and fights the soldiers actually belong to the Hammer industries which is secretly occupying the island to mine the vibranium it contains. Iron Man defeats the soldiers, who escape and trigger explosives contained on the island, destroying it along with any evidence that they were ever there. The people find out the iron man was infact tony stark. later that day a "Ghost" manages to get past secruity and reveal files of roxxon killing tony stark's parents. But also that howard was a ruthless buisnessman and the "ghost" plans to take down stark industries he then reveals files also bringing shade across the stark name. Stark is spiraling downwards hes drinking himself away with stark industries going down and his suit being taken away. the ghost however sees how stark is not his father and he shows himself to stark. stark, war machine and the ghost team up to defeat hammer industries.
