Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man, becomes even more famous after helping defeat Red Skull. He proudly tells the world that he is Iron Man, believing his technology keeps people safe. However, Tony secretly struggles because the palladium in his arc reactor is slowly poisoning him. Meanwhile, Ivan Vanko builds his own arc reactor and powerful electric whips to challenge Stark, blaming Tony’s father, Howard Stark, for ruining his family. With help from Nick Fury, Tony discovers a new element that saves his life and improves his armor. In the final battle, Iron Man and War Machine stop Vanko and a dangerous drone army, preventing Hydra from rising again while the world prepares for a future filled with heroes, technology, and mutants.
