Kahina Eskandari was born a Palestinian Ferro kinetic. Her parents were murdered when she was young, and a promise of revenge served as her reason for joining the Shadow Cabinet. She would then form a secret affair with the groups leader, Dharma. Due to their relationship Iron Butterfly is completely loyal to Dharma, and serves as the field commander of the team.
