Inkheart
Meggie, a young girl whose father, Mo, has a rare ability: when he reads books aloud, the characters and creatures come to life. Years earlier, Mo accidentally brought a villain, Capricorn, out of a book called Inkheart, and Capricorn killed Meggie’s mother. When Meggie discovers her father’s gift, she realizes she can also influence the stories.
