Feeling abandoned after her daughter Ellie (Sadie Sink) leaves for college, Lauren (Bryce Dallas Howard) organizes a family reunion so they can have an excuse to bond. Ellie, soured by having to leave her friends to see her family again, begrudgingly goes with it, and mother and daughter come to blows. But as the night goes on and tomorrow becomes uncertain, they find that their bond is much stronger than they initially thought.
