the hunger games is a book in which two tributes from one of the twelve districts male and one female are to fight to the death in a arena until one lone victor remains that victor and whatever district he or she may come from will be showered with money, gifts, and food and the victor will receive a house in that district's victors village. this story follows the tributes of district 12.
