Hobin lost his father at a young age, being left with his ill mother in a poor environment. Due to his mother having cancer, she often has to stay at a hospital where the bills stack up in price quickly. Hobin is forced to mature quickly and find jobs to support his sick mother, barely thinking of his own health.
