Kevin McCallister, now a successful security consultant, reluctantly agrees to join his family for a once-in-a-lifetime Christmas trip across Europe. Hoping for a quiet break from his stressful career, he plans to take it easy and soak up the holiday spirit in iconic cities around the world. But thanks to a flight mix-up, Kevin’s family ends up headed for Paris while Kevin mistakenly lands in Tokyo — with only his carry-on bag and the clothes on his back. Stranded but undeterred, Kevin embarks on a journey across multiple countries, determined to meet up with his family before Christmas morning. His adventure takes him through bustling holiday markets in Germany, snowy castles in the Swiss Alps, and neon-lit streets in Japan, encountering friendly strangers, quirky locals, and festive holiday traditions along the way. Unbeknownst to him, the Wet Bandits, Harry and Marv , have gotten wind of Kevin’s travels. Fresh out of prison and still harboring a grudge, they seize the opportunity for revenge, tracking Kevin’s route and devising plans to intercept him at every stop. However, Kevin’s years as a security expert have only honed his skills in outsmarting would-be thieves, and he’s more than prepared to give them a run for their money.
