Captain William Laurence of HMS Reliant captured a french ship carrying a Dragon egg, When the Egg hatches and chooses Will to be his captain, Laurence must now enter the life of a member of the Royal Aviators and try to find out more about Temeraire (the name of his dragon, because he was found on a french ship)
