In 1944, a fringe Nazi science division stumbled upon an alien artifact buried beneath the ice. They tried to use it as a weapon, but instead unleashed something far greater — a dormant alien intelligence. Before they could harness it, the war ended, and the artifact was lost to history. Now, in the present day, strange phenomena reawaken across Europe. Alien ships pierce through the skies, and twisted human-alien hybrids begin surfacing. Hellboy and his team discover that the artifact has been reactivated, not by Nazis, but by an alien remnant force seeking to conquer Earth. The so-called “Black Reich” isn’t about Nazis reborn — it’s about a dark order of alien overlords who once manipulated human wars to prepare Earth for invasion. The Nazis were just pawns in their larger plan, and now those aliens return to finish what they started.
