Fang comes from a poor village in China, where life was full of hardships. As a child, she witnessed a lot of suffering and injustice, which deeply shaped her approach to life. Fang grew up in the spirit of Buddhism, learning the principles of compassion, meditation and acceptance. Although she tried to live according to the Buddha's teachings, she did not avoid the suffering she had in her life. The tragedy of her family's death in the earthquake made her think deeply about the meaning of suffering and life.
