Gregory and his close friend Akuma train diligently in kung fu under the guidance of their masters — Kenshi Takahashi, Kitana, Kung Lao, Shujinko, and Smoke. After completing their intense training, Fire God Liu Kang presents Gregory with a sacred Dragon Scroll. Gregory decides to share it with Akuma, and together they read its ancient teachings. As they finish, a powerful energy surrounds them — transforming Gregory and Akuma into the legendary Dragon Warriors.
