A buddy cop movie in which the new recruit, John Stewart, has to be trained by the best Lantern in the corp, Hal Jordan. Meanwhile, Jordan's own mentor, Sinestro is diagnosed with a terminal illness, this pushes him to embrace the power of fear. Now, is up to Jordan and Stewart to stop Sinestro before he unleashes the Manhunters in his search for immortality.
