Fan Casting Thaal Sinestro in Green Lantern Corps DCEU (2017)

Thaal Sinestro was an archaeologist on his home planet, Korugar, when he saw a Green Lantern fell in an excavation, the dying lantern has his ring stolen by Sinestro who left him to die. Upon arriving in Oa, the citadel of the Green Lanterns, Sinestro met his partner, Abin Sur, with whom they fought together for a long time. After Abin was killed by Darkseid, Sinestro became the dictator of his home planet, Korugar, this was discovered by the Guardians of the Universe who imprisoned him where he befriended the Thunderers and won his yellow ring and massacred the guardians
