The man with whom Miriam entered into a relationship and eventually married. Not only does she feel remorse for hiding her true self, but also for cheating and hurting as it turns out a wonderful and sensitive man who seems to love her with all his heart. He is, in fact, the first person to whom Miriam confesses the truth about herself with difficulty. Although the man feels cheated he doesn't hold it against her. He understands her and becomes her best friend.
