Godzilla/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Part 1: The Legend Reborn took place since after IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Issue #150 were Armaggon still stuck in the present day, and Alopex lost her new home to Armaggon and forced her into rejoining the Splinter Clan and lived with TMNT since after she left during Armageddon Game, and the Turtles are given her a chance to be part of their clan again. While Leonardo finds out that Splinter is alive after they thought their Sensei sacrifice himself to save New York, while the Turtles and their friends are moved onto Tokyo, Japan to reunite with their Sensei and meet the man of science himself Prof. Kaito Serizawa who witnessed Godzilla's presence in Japan. When suddenly a UFO appears that could be one who can deal with Godzilla, and then absorbing DNA from his, and end up create another monster named Orga who’s mutated from the alien named Millennian could be the one who can fight Godzilla.
