James, an aspiring writer, finally finds his shot once his deadbeat uncle manages to score James a meeting with a prestigious executive. Pitching his script James finds an instant sell, but discovers his main request, the licensing of Garrett Burns' hit song Firefly, is extremely unlikely. However due to a bar fight James manages to meet and get on the good side of Garrett Burns himself. Burns and James start a friendship and joint collaboration, only for a simple "errand" to catapult James into the industry's dark underbelly
