Set 8-9 years before “Batman: The Knight Rises”. As crime rises in Gotham City Renee Montoya enters the GCPD workforce to fight crime and corruption. Along with her co-workers and Deputy Chief Jim Gordon, they investigate the death of Carmine Falcone which is suspected to be caused due to the ongoing gang war between The Falcone Family and The Marconi Family. As this new generation of GCPD uncovers the truth, they also see the origins of many villains and heroes like Selina Kyle, Thomas Elliot, Edward Nygma, Oswald Cobblepot, Waylon Jones, and Bruce Wayne
